The town sits on the western shore of the Mar Menor, a salt water lagoon seperated from the Mediterranean Sea by a 22km strip of land called La Manga. The area enjoys an average of 300 days of sunshine each year. Bars, cafes and restaurants provide drinks, Tapas, meals and entertainment, and the warm water of the Mar Menor helps make the town a paradise for bathers and water sports enthusiasts. The mineral-rich water of the Mar Menor is revered for its health giving properties and the town still has thermal baths which have existed since roman times. The town is well connected to the motorway network and there are regular flights to and from Murcia/San Javier International airport, which is only five minutes away. Alicante Airport offers even more flights, and is an hour away.

The master bedroom has a double bed with bedside cabinets and lamps and all bedding, double wardrobe to accomodate all your holiday clothing and a safe.

The Community
There is a clean un-attended communal pool, and a smaller pool for all guests to use.
The Beaches
The golden sandy beaches of Los Alcazares have been awarded the coveted `Blue Flag of Excellance` and the warm water of the Mar Menor makes bathing a delight. There are ample provision of showers, toilets,first aid and facilities for the disabled. As a whole, Los Alcazares is flat, with no hills to climb. Within a short distancefrom the town you can take your pick from the rest of the Costa Calida`s 250km of beaches and coves. Around 50km of those are around the Mar Menor itself. The rest are on the Meditteranian. Many beaches offer a range of water sports and other activities whilst other provide secluded tranquility, some of which are conservation areas designated as naitional or regional parks of outstanding beauty. Just a 20min drive, is the the world famous resort of La Manga, which boasts 3 championship golf courses, 28 tennis courts. There are 15 further golf clubs either in Los Alcazares or within a short drive. The apartment is a 10 minute leisurely walk from the Mar Menor, or a 2 min drive. As the locality is very flat, its perfect for walking cycling or the disabled.
